The German Wood company Ilim Timber uses 16-5M900 X-Tend Sigma or 16-6M500 HT PET straps in their production.
At the German production site of the international Ilim Timber group more than 2.000.000 m³ of timber are processed every year. The company offers sawn timber products for a wide range of applications.
The finished wooden product is strapped either fully automatically or by hand. Depending on the length of the product, PET XT or X-Tend is used to strap the pieces two to four times into bundles. Depending on the final application, a protective fil is then applied manually, double strapped and loaded by forklift. The final packages are moved for intermediate storage either under cover or in the open storage area.
