Partners can expect more from TEUFELBERGER-REDAELLI
From 14th to 18th October 2019, a team from our partner Nuqip from South Africa completed a one-week training course at Teufelberger-Redaelli in Wels. Not only did Nuquip's sales and technical people get to know our high-performance steel ropes in theory, but they were also able to lend a hand when installing end connections. Trainings ususally conists of:
- Steel wire ropes overview: Rope types and construction, Terms and definitions
- Ropes in operation and maintenance: Storage, handling and inspection,Installation, — Maintenance of wire ropes and related parts (sheave, drum, ...)
- Lifetime, inspection and discard: Influence of service life, Inspection of the rope, — Discard criteria according to ISO 4309
- Hands-on examples to apply the newly achieved skills
- Inspection of a rope on the crane (e.g. rope drive)
- Identification of most critical components influencing the performance
- of a crane
- Identification and analysis of important discard criteria
- Finalizing the inspection by creating a useful report
With the gained skills and in-depth knowledge in the handling of wire rope, our partners are now able to support their customers in their home market more flexible, faster and more competent.
