NOROTEC® MT 91 features a revolutionary design and is manufactured of premium materials in a perfectly harmonized production process. It combines all characteristics that a rotation resistant high performance hoist rope needs for your use. Being very versatile, it excels particularly as hoist rope in the following applications:
- Drum applications in single and multilayer spooling
- Friction hoists
- Shaft sinking projects (Galloway, bucket/cage)
Our NOROTEC® MT 91 can be adapted individually to your respective requirements and applications. By adjusting the rope accordingly, the design can be optimally balanced in terms of wear, service life, breaking load, etc.
The hoist rope NOROTEC® MT 91 is characterized by the following benefits:
- Outer strands compacted by means of SUPERFILL® technology making the rope extremely resistant to wear and plastic deformation
- Excellent spooling characteristics due to highest dimensional stability under lateral pressure - even in multilayer spooling use
- In spite of the compact rope design, the rope is very flexible and durable in terms of bending cycles.
- Extremely high resistance to external environmental influences and the ingress of dirt due to PLASTFILL® insert resulting in a perfect lubrication of the inner rope
- Supreme operational safety due to high breaking forces and resistance to torsion
- Long service life even in case of shock loads due to the 4-strand design of the inner rope
- Rotation resistance making the rope suited for use in very deep hoisting shafts
- Low rope elongation
- Rotation resistant rope construction facilitating installation and ensuring protection of the drive sheave linings of friction hoists.
