The special rope construction consisting of a polyester cover, a soft intermediate cover of polyester, and a UHMWPE core largely prevents a core/cover displacement. Thus, Globe 5000 MK2 is the ideal solution for all applications where power transmission is effected via the rope cover (e.g. in spill winches).
